Thank you for considering advertising on my website. Before we proceed, let’s distinguish between advertising and affiliate links. Advertising involves displaying banners, either 728×90 in the header or 300×250 in the sidebar, while affiliate links are text links.
Advertising
Advertising spots on my website rotate through a variety of banners. The 728×90 spot exclusively rotates 728×90 banners, while the 300×250 spot exclusively rotates 300×250 banners. If you seek exclusivity, we can discuss it, subject to an additional fee.
Audience
While anyone can view my website, individuals under 18 cannot create accounts or comment.
Content Policy
I do not tolerate xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, or any other hateful content in advertisements.
Server Location and Compliance
My servers are located in Pori, Finland, while I manage the website primarily from Toronto, Canada. Consequently, I adhere to GDPR, PIPEDA, Finnish, Canadian, and other relevant European Union laws.
Advertising Partners
Ads may be placed using code from Linkshare, Impact.com, ShareASale, and other independent affiliate programs.
Submission Process
To initiate the advertising process, send me a message via the contact page. Once approved, please provide the banner code or send the banner directly for hosting on my server. Banner formats accepted include .jpg, .png, and .webp. Any issues with the banner will be addressed before publication.
Payment
Payment is required in full before ads go live. Extensions or renewals must be paid before the original expiration date.
Refunds
Refunds are not provided, except in cases where event dates or times provided in the advertisement are incorrect or changed.
Policy Effective Date
This policy is effective as of May 05, 2024.
Disclaimer
My website reserves the right to reject or remove any advertisements that violate our advertising policies or fail to meet our standards.
